Hotel Bristol

I can't recommend this place enough. My husband and I were there September just gone. Amazing views, amazing food! The location was perfect, literally a 10 minute walk into the main town. But the thing I have to mention are the staff and service. It was hands down the best we have ever experienced. They made you feel welcome and they went above and beyond. We are already planning to go back next year but next time we will extend our stay, 1 week was just not enough time in this beautiful part of the world and this fantastic hotel, which made it the best holiday we've had a long time. Thanks again.

We have just returned from another wonderful week at the fabulous Hotel Bristol in Sorrento. We've stayed at the Bristol many times and it never disappoints but continues to maintain the highest standards of accommodation, care, courtesy and friendliness for which the hotel is well known and can be justly proud. The biggest treasure at Hotel Bristol is the staff, all of whom are wonderful and make our stay really special. Lucca and his team in the restaurant are just fantastic and set the highest standards taking care of their guests. Our room was extremely spacious with a separate dressing room, a large bathroom, a lounge area, and 2 balconies, both with fabulous views across the Bay of Naples and over the town of Sorrento. As the hotel sits on the side of a main road, there was a lot of traffic-related noise when sitting on the balcony, but we were well insulated from the noise once we retreated to the room. We stayed on a half-board basis and all meals were served inside, on the top floor of the hotel, which provided even more spectacular views than those available from our balcony. For all meals, we were attended to by uniformed servers who were, with the exception of 1 rather brusque waiter, extremely friendly and accommodating. The quality and choice of food at breakfast was excellent. We found the choice of food at evening meal rather limited, but the quality of the food was good. The pool was on the roof and was a simple rectangular affair. As we point-blank refuse to play the idiots' game of getting up early and putting towels on sun loungers, we found that we were unable to get a lounger by the poolside and had to make do with the loungers away from the pool. For not having a policy of removing towels from empty loungers, I have reduced my overall rating for this hotel from 5* to 4* (Hotel management take note!!).

Still staying here...no need to wait until the end to review it. Big clean rooms, lovely location with stunning views, decent sized big pool, excellent food and changing menu every night with something for everyone. Good wine list as well and well priced. Most of all, the staff are absolutely fantastic!! All of them. Special mention to Luca and his teams in the restaurants and the bar teams. Giuseppe too helped to make a special week. Connecting with the children wonderfully as well. Nothing is too much trouble. Very easy to see why people return every year. Thank you Hotel Bristol.

This is a 4 star hotel but probably the best hotel that I've ever stayed in. The panoramic view over Naples Bay is fantastic, the rooms are to a very high standard. This is a family-run hotel and that is evident from the first class customer experience that we received. The food and drink, swimming pool, gymnasium, beauty salon were excellent. Special mention to Guiseppe, the head waiter who was so welcoming.

This is by far the best hotel in Italy. The views are incredible but it’s the staff who make this hotel. They’re all so friendly and welcoming. We arrived to the hotel at around 11pm, all exhausted from the flight. Upon arrival, we had a delicious buffet put out for us all. The reception staff were all so helpful in helping us plan excursions. If we return to Sorrento, we would only stay at hotel Bristol. The views are spectacular! We can’t wait to return! Thank you to all the staff for making this trip so special!

This is my second visit to this hotel and I was far from disappointed again. We were greeted in a friendly way upon arrival and our room was extremely clean with a beautiful balcony. What I feel deserves mentioning the most is the restaurant. The team of excellent waiters, watched under the meticulous eye of Luca the restaurant manage,r did everything to ensure that our holiday went very well. The restaurant has ,what I believe, the best view in Sorrento. Its position allows you the view of the bay of Naples. Breakfast was a delight. There was everything available from fresh fruit to cheese and even a selection of sweets that are made at the hotel and eggs cooked in every way you wish when you order. Being it was a buffet breakfast, I was able to try everything and my family and I enjoyed our breakfast together at a leisurely pace. Evening was the same delightful experience. A wide choice of food was a available. One night my son wanted something different and we mentioned this to Luca who was able to make my son happy by cooking something for his taste. It's that attention to detail that makes this hotel a special one and I shall be returning again.
